I just wanted to mention that MLB12 The Show is a ridiculously good game. I don't even usually like baseball video games, but it's so so so damn good. Feels like you are watching a real game, so many options to manage your club. They even capture the individual throwing motions and batting swings of different players flawlessly. Outstanding game if you like baseball.... which I believe one or two posters in this thread might.

I'm very happy with the acquisitions of Infante and Sanchez. Tigers were in a desperate need of a second baseman, and another starter is great too. Porcello scares me.

Hated having to give up Jacob Turner though.

Infante is a really good player but he can just never stay healthy as an every day player.

That Cole Hamels deal is terrible for the Phils. He's not worth it, and that and the Howard deal will look absolutely terrible 2-3 years down the road.

As for the Mets, they are 1-9 in their last 10 and are losing again today. Trade Dickey because his stock will never be higher. See if you can get any takers for Murphy/Davis/Duda.

Realistically 2 years is the goal for the Mets. Johan and Bay's monster contracts come off the books and their top 2 pitching prospects (Wheeler and Mejia) should be ready for the big leagues. In the meantime trade anybody that won't be integral parts of those teams. Have a firesale like the Marlins.
