Dodgers just got shutout for their entire 3 game series agains the Giants. First time the Dodgers franchise has ever been shutout in a series of three or more games. And the Dodgers have been around since the 19th Century, so that is saying something.

Played nine today and it was one of those rounds where I was hitting everything solid and couldn't buy a break. One of those "I hate this game" kind of days. Nice drive, rolls through the fairway. Good chip, rolls off the back...

So I absolutely SMASH my drive on nine (a par 4) and hit dead center in the fairway bunker. 90 or so left. I walk in there thinking "Ihatethisgame Ihatethisgame Ihatethisgame".

I holed that thing for a 2. Last shot of the day.

Gave me a 39 for the 9... Gonna be in my head until I play again. I hate this fucking game.

Pirates salvaged the Phillies series. 2-2 split is admirable, thought I was hoping for 3 considering their woes. Off to St. Louis now...gonna be a tough series. Big division implications.

I think we handicapped ourselves in the first game by throwing Karstens for the first time in about forever, and Bedard had a rare rough go of it in the second game, so the split is about as good as we could have expected. Hopefully Karstens is ready to go for St. Louis, though, because I feel like we'll lose the Correia start and win the Bedard start, but Karstens will have to be the rubber man.

He does that every times he checks his swing, no matter the count. When ever he comes up to bat, I'm always hoping for a check swing.
