I understand that...completely. Still...so freaking negative. Mostly about Alvarez. Can't understand or support anyone who thinks 1-they should trade him and 2-that he wouldn't even garner a return in a trade.

Yeah, well the Alvarez hate is mostly just crow, and he's already said he has no reasonable justification for it, he just hates the guy, like as a person.

Everyone else is just kind of disappointed he hasn't been more consistent. Mags, in particular, expected him to have a Hall of Fame type of career when we drafted him.

I did post a cause for optimism this morning. We'll see how it's received.
