I'm going to know where I'm going to live next year by the end of the week. :)

Oh, a bake sale, yay, like your kid needs another effin brownie...

Great stuff, Darkstone.

ugh ... the thought is making me nauseous

Want a ride? Check the dress code! - Richard's Blog - Virgin.com

When in British Columbia a few days ago, the delightful Premier Christy Clark accepted my invite to come for a kitesurf ride on my back.
One thing though - I forgot to tell her about the dress code! Well, here it is.
The offer still stands Christy!

Clark rebuffs with a zinger:

"If that's his best pickup line, I think I understand why he named his company Virgin"

Their kids might not need brownies, but I'll take one. :thumb:

(I'm allowed to eat brownies because I'm smart. That's how that works, right?)

Also, as a teacher myself, it's all true! :tsk:

Man, that was a relateable piece. She was a gifted writer.

You hate to see anyone die so young, but from that piece, I'd say she was poised to do something universally positive, and that extra loss makes it tough to swallow for even those who never met her.

Yeah, DEFINITELY relateable. I mean, that's so much of my feelings the past few weeks, and I'm not even done yet. Just hard to read her write "I have so much time for this!" And yet...she's gone a moment later.
