I just read that. And yeah too bad if you didn't like him doing this. Honestly if they want excitement and people watching the game you would want Tatis and Soto to continue as they are.
Baseball's old "unwritten rules" is nothing but old people complaining about "kids these days" and the whole "back in my day" comments. Too bad they have a revisionist history and realize this is nothing new.


Let me add if a pitcher is going to send down a BP pitch assuming you have a the take sign, shame on them for pitching it.

One of my friends way back in the day was one of the first in town to get a satellite dish receiver.
watching the live feeds of HNIC was pretty colourful, as they didn't cut away for commercials,
so you just got the commentators and booth chatting candidly for a couple of minutes.
