Not just yet. I am really happy with their play the last month, they have a good record over it and have beaten a lot of good teams. However with the exception of the last few days, the team offense has really declined. If that doesn't improve, they can be caught. I hope not though!

The upside for them in the rest of the AL East is pretty bad. Toronto's the only marginally talented team in the division trying to catch them.

I dunno...depends on who put the claim in on him. The Cubs have been named in some rumors, and they have the farm system to make a deal. Of course, this is Amaro, and he probably thinks he can get Rizzo or something ridiculous. Hamels also has a NTC, so he can veto moves to a bunch of teams. Byrd one should be interesting. I don't like that contract, or I'd be 1000000% for the Pirates getting him.
