Jesus. I am disgusted with the amount of money I've spent today. I booked a flight to the East Coast for next month.. That shit is not cheap. There goes all my beer and whiskey money for the month!

It's a receptionist position with a long established company. I know someone who works for a different branch. They said they'll put in a good word for me. And the branch I applied to currently doesn't have a full time receptionist. So I would consider that pretty promising.

Since my new office does business with wholesalers in every state, I can write any flight off to expense as long as I visit 4 or 5 producers.
If I want to stay a little longer, I just can't write off the entire hotel expense and car rental.

My best friend lives in Maine. So I'm definitely going to be there for a few days. The other couple of days I'm going to probably spend in Boston because I've never been there. I need to coordinate more with her to figure out her schedule. Might try to stop in on a local derby practice with some of the leagues there. Gonna try and go to Fenway.

I try not to make any serious plans when traveling. I like to just see where the day takes me.

well, if you plan on moving to Florida sometime, we are likely to be hiring assistants in the next year as they integrate me more into underwriting.

Edit: As long as you don't mind working 10 hours a day and about 4 hours a day on the weekends (remote from home for part of the time during weekdays and all on weekends)
