Me too buddy only time will tell. The must stay out of the penalty box !

I'm all for powerplays but I can't stand when they take over games.to many pps completely disrupt the flow of the game.kind of glad I couldn't see the game from what I was reading it was like reliving the frustration of our series with philly last year.

I need to get to sleep, but it's just not happening. :ohwell:

Rock-a-bye, IP
In the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock
When the bough breaks
The cradle will fall
And down will come IP
Cradle and all

Goodnight sweet prince

Oh hi. So now my internets hate me, but not as badly as Brian's hate him. I was up until 5 this morning because of Springfest duty (I'm an RA, and Springfest is the highest-risk weekend of the year, so we all have to stay up super late while we're on duty), so I haven't been awake for long. But I did want to mention that my girlfriend and her housemates call Ghost Hunters "Bro Ghosts."

Also, the Pirates are willing in the 7th inning. Hooray!

The Pirates got hosed on a call at the plate. Garrett Jones pretty clearly beat the tag to the plate and got called out. Fortunately, McCutchen came through with an RBI single in the very next at bat to get the Pirates the 7-6 lead back.

The Pirates held on to win! The Pirates handed reliever Ondrusek his first career loss in a nail-biter, and Hanrahan got a five-out save. He loaded the bases today in the ninth, and started looking a little wild, but he got out of it without giving up any runs. 7-8 now for the Buccos this year, and they're just playing better baseball this year.

McCutchen was awesome today, 3-3 with a home run and 2 RBIs, two walks and two runs. He and Tabata led off the game with back-to-back opposite field line drive homers, and any questions I had about Tabata's power are being erased quickly, as that was his third blast of the season (McCutchen's was also his third).

I'm so excited, though. Go Bucs!

How was everyone's Sunday? Mine was just swell

I had a lovely Sunday myself, not waking up until 1, watching the Pirates beat the Reds, finishing my last online Optics quiz, and filing the only incident report I had from last night. Now I can get a little more work done and go to bed early. :)

We've heard that one before. And then...

...burned up popcorn one day...

...another time, rock through the window...

Tonight...?

Those were on the same night... :L

But on the riskiest weekend of the year, I only had to file on incident report, so I think there's a good chance I'll get a quiet night tonight.

However, I would like to relay the story of what happened in another building on Friday night.

Some kid was trying to do flaming shots of 151, which is a terrible idea in the first place, but he apparently spilled some 151 on himself, then dropped the bottle on the floor, then dropped the shot on himself and set his shirt and the floor on fire. Fortunately, the RA on duty was nearby and put out the fire quickly with a fire extinguisher, but serious, how can you be that stupid? :L

I remember tricking a few of my friends with 151. I came back from my first semester of college a mini alcoholic used to drinking hard liquor straight with no chasers because we were poor and drank cheap nasty stuff.
I was making some really crude hash oil using 151 and had some left over that I had not intended to drink.
If I had a friend or two over, I would tell them that it is not that bad and take a huge swig straight from the bottle (about 2-3 shots) with a straight face and hand it to them.
They would get through about one and a half swallow and then spit it out and hack and cough for about a minute. Then usually swearing and calling me an asshole ensued.

They were right ... it really was a dickhead move.
