So in my boredom, I decided to go back and look at how many consecutive status updates I've made pertaining to the Pirates, and it was eight, in case anyone was curious.

Someone start a conversation. All I've got are baseball and math.

Lol. Yeah, I had a bunch on the Caps this year. It's kinda fun working only a few blocks from the arena, you never know when any given night might be a hockey night!

That's pretty cool. I saw your last post on the Caps to this point.

Chris. Chris.

Why are you anti-sex? Honestly?

Personal reasons. A lot of words would be necessary to convey exactly what they are. They're absurdly complicated.

It kind of looks like the US Budget. :)

Oh, and to clarify, I'm not against it as any moral idea, and I'm totally alright with and in favor of folks having sex as much as they want, as long as they do it responsibly. I just don't want to have it myself.

I can't either. That's why it would take so long for me to explain it.

I spend a lot of time figuring myself out. I'm a puzzle, and I love to solve puzzles. Fortunately for me, trying to figure myself out is more of a game than a painstaking and agonizing experience, which it seems to me is the case for a lot of folks who don't get themselves.

I'm playing cat and mouse with myself all the time, and it couldn't be more fun. :)

Also, 7117! Palindrome post!

You know, part of it could be my affinity for and ability in math and science. I know synesthesiacs and individuals with perfect pitch almost always have deficiencies in some other mental capacity, and I know for those with perfect pitch the realm is in social interactions, so for me, perhaps my mind works in some way that averts me from sexuality.

Of course, this is just one of many theories. And I can't support it with other science-minded folks, because most of my scientist friends are fans of sex.

That sounds exhausting.

I know myself pretty well.

Yeah, but we're all always evolving, views changing, experiences and tastes moving around. I know myself for the most part, but surprise myself from time-to-time and get what D'stone is saying.

Oh yeah, and remember how I said I'm compulsive? That's probably got something to do with it, too.

Truth. I like to go back and look at things I wrote or recall things I thought just a couple years ago. It's remarkable how much I've evolved.

Just in college, I've completely changed. I was an insufferable jerk as a freshman, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have liked me if I as I am now met me of four years ago. I'm not sure how I was able to make so many friends and keep them for my entire college career. My sophomore year, I was a workaholic, and I was always frustrated and upset and angry and sick and tired. The last two years, I've been super laid back and easy to get along with, and I've been getting more and more laid back. In that time, I also became much more liberal, although I still classify myself as moderate.

Character development is my favorite thing to analyze in books, movies, and television shows, and when I analyze my own character, it can be remarkable what I find.
