Hope I make it through the hockey game tonight. Fell asleep about 4:30, woke up every hour until I hopped out of bed at 10.

Pirates up 1-0 in the mid fourth. My little brother is at the game.

I'm also going to write thank you cards today. Tomorrow, I start packing. I'm going to get flat rate boxes from the USPS and start figuring out what I want my parents to mail to me.

Also, I say "pop," "faucet," and "washing machine," although my dad says "warshing," and we all make fun of him for it. I also no longer buy into the Bacon and Eggs rule, as you can clearly see.

I'm starting to get fed up with Jose Veras. He's just walking way too many guys. The Mets pulled it to 2-1 because he couldn't get anyone out. Fortunately, Tim Wood was able to come on and get all three outs, only allowing the runner at third score.

Anyway, McCutchen singled (he had the day off today, but was a defensive substitution on a double switch in the seventh), pushing his hitting streak to 12 games. Then Tabata hit an infield single to load the bases. One out, and now Xavier Paul up to bat.
