In New England, how can you not? It's insane how many Dunkin' Donuts they have up there. There are small towns of like 3,000 or 4,000 people in Connecticut and Massachusetts that have TWO Dunkin' Donuts.

I will always hate Krispy Kreme b/c a gym I went to for a year had a KK in the parking lot. That was the worst - feel great about yourself after a tough workout and walk right into temptation and air that smells like fried dough.

Last month I watched a documentary on it on Hulu. It was pretty sad. I'm all for people having hobbies and there is nothing inherently wrong with Dungeons & Dragons, but these people's lives were ENTIRELY consumed by it.

Not a particularly good documentary, but good for some mindless entertainment and ultimately made me feel much better about my minor problems.

There was a really good (by that I mean really bad) TV movie churned out in the early 80s warning people about the dangers of playing D&D called Mazes And Monsters. Its so bad its amusing partially because a young Tom Hanks plays a person who cannot distinguish between the game and real life.

Oh yeah for a year or so it was a popular thing for parent-teachers-psychologist to wonder aloud if the game was harmful to children. I never played it so I made it out of the 80s just fine. Whew, dodged that bullet.
