When I played Little League, no one wanted to play outfield. Nobody ever hit the ball out of the infield so getting assigned outfield was like a death sentence. One kid on the team showed his disdain by sitting on his ass picking dandelions.

I was one of those kids. I picked them standing up, though. I wanted to be ready on the off chance the ball would come out there. And the one time it did, I was ready.
