Okay, I'm back, and here's what I have to contribute to the food conversation:

There's a 5 Guys near my school, and my friends and I go there about once a month. It's not the burgers that make the place, it's the fries. There are so darned many. And once we got half a bag for free because we went near closing and they didn't want to waste them. It was glorious.

I've also had Fuddruckers, just a couple weeks ago in the Detroit airport. I was suffering from a stomach virus, but I had to eat because in the 10 hours I had already been awake that day, all I had to eat was a bagle. It actually made me feel a little better until I got on the plane. It was okay, but nothing super special.

If you're ever in San Diego and want good Italian food, go to Antonio's on (I believe) J Street. Now, you might run into a mob boss or two, but the food is really good authentic Italian. If you leave before they make you any special offers, you'll be fine. I have a friend who met Antonio himself (a very shady character for what it's worth) on G Street on time, and Antonio told him and his friends to go to his restaurant and he'd call ahead and reserve a table for them and give them their food for half price. Sure enough, when they got there, there was a table reserved for them in the back and they go their meals half price. They also set up their dance floor upstairs with a private deejay, but the kids decided to leave before they got mixed up in something.

Oh, and Primanti's. =)

Definately agree with the fries at 5 guys.I also believe we ate at that restaurant A few times when we were in san diego.Food was real good and the mafia guys made me feel at home. They pegged me as a new yorker right off the bat and we talked for hours one of them actually knew my uncle benny which could confirm your theory Chris

Oh, and Primanti's. =)

I had a history teacher in High School who was from Pittsburgh and he would talk about Pitssburgh all the time. He would always talk about Primanti's (along with the Steelers and Penguins and then I would remind him about the Pirates :)) and how amazing it was. He was an ass but a really good teacher. He'd always make fun of the Caps and it would piss me off, but it was all in good fun because he did it to everyone. But because of him, I shall go there one day, don't know when though.

And then people were pissing me off driving 20 MPH in a 40 MPH area. It wasn't that bad to be going that slow IMO. When I was able to get into the front of the pack I went about 45 MPH and blew everyone away. Bunch of babies, THIS IS BUFFALO!!!
