If you're ever in So Cal try Slater's 50/50 for Burgers in Anaheim Hills. The burgers are half beef & half bacon & you get to choose from over 20 toppings. UNBELIEVABLE!!

Hey puck, was there ever a place called Happy Face Burgers in BC? I seem to remember seeing one on a trip up to Whistler back in the mid '90s. Then again, I was young'un back then.

I've had both. I think In N Out is better but my friend from DC who lives out here believe 5 Guys is better. We chalked it up to nostalgia and hometown pride.

My favorite bar in my neighborhood makes these amazing burgers. They have a grinder in the kitchen so they grind bacon directly into the beef. Called the beef and bacon burger, amazing. It's on the outskirts of the City so it's not nearly as popular as it should be, but it's supposed to be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives this spring so it should blow up right after that. I'll be happy for the boys that they're doing well but really bummed that I have to share my whiskey bar and burgers with all the crowds.

we have a few 5 Guys joints up here. completely different than In n Out.
I much prefer In n Out.

never heard of it.
google tells me there is (or was) one out in Surrey, but I've never been.
