This trip is just to do the H&P (history & physical) before my surgery next week. I have been trying to get to this point for just over 5 years now.

A lot of doctors and BS along the way.

Nothing quite as routine as that. I am getting what they refer to as a major surgery, and it should take around 3 hours to complete.

I'm not looking forward to the recovery at all.

best of luck sir i just had my gallbladder out a few years ago surgery is never fun heres hoping for a safe surgery and quick recovery

Can you imagine if you woke up during a surgery, and they had you all cut open?

My wife told me her friend had to get a C-section, and they didn't give her the right amount of anesthesia. When they cut into her, she screamed like hell.

It's not like this surgery is needed to save my life or anything, but it will certainly improve the quality of my life by a lot. I have a lot of medical issues that are all attributed to this, and I can't wait to get it over with.

I still can't believe after all these years, I am only 1 week away.

Just stay away from Stephen King movies for the next week. Rent The Lion King or something. Someone told me a clear head is wicked important. Try to think of something funny. Like, imagine what Jeff looks like in real life.

I woke up during recovery and punched my surgeon dont remember it but was real nervous the following year when he had to have hernia surgery.

I'm fine right now, but I'm sure I will be nervous as fuck the day of. I hate being in hospitals, and I don't like getting knocked out while people cut me open.

I go in next Wednesday, and will most likely be discharged Thursday afternoon.

They would of sent me home that same day, but since I live almost 2 hours away from the Hospital, he wants to make sure I'm ok before leaving.

Fortunately it was in recovery after the surgery the crazy part was going back to the same guy for a second surgery.he atleast had a sense of humor about it.

They are not cracking your chest are they? The very idea of that gives me the creeps.

Most I ever had done was an appendectomy and that wasn't fun. It wasnt awful, but I miss that little part of me still.
