Kubiak was in an officials ear as Gano was setting up to attempt a 52-yard FG (to win the game, obviously). He called a timeout right at the last second. No one on the field knew, and Gano went through the motions, splitting the uprights. Of course, the play was called back, and he missed his second attempt. Houston won the game on the next drive.

It benefited me, but I hate that rule, too.

Yeah, I mean I was glad that Houston ended up winning, and I don't mind icing the kicker by calling a timeout, but you shouldn't be able to call timeouts a split second before the kick so that they run the play and don't realize until it's over that it doesn't count. Sportsmanship has to come into play at some point.

The Seahawks need to play Jacksonville. They were so bad today that Jack Del Rio said after the game they need to just forget about this game & move forward to the next one. I wonder if Jack will burn the tape.

The rumors will probably begin again tomorrow. Who would have thought Dallas & Minnesota would be 0-2. The Niners will probably fall to 0-2 tomorrow night.

The Seahawks could win the division. Arizona & SF don't have QB's. The Rams are still the Lambs. Hasselbeck isn't great by any means but now that Warner has retired he's the best QB in the division, until Bradford matures a bit anyway.

IMO the Seahawks don't need another receiver. I hope someone else pulls the trigger for Jackson.
