Holy cow, Stanford is a smart and disciplined football team. Harbaugh needs to stay there. He'll never find an NFL team smart enough to run his system. I was very impressed.

So, because your avatar reminded me of minions, I just recalled a conversation I had with a friend in which we detailed our plan to take over the world used penguins as our henchmen. We would call them "henchguins."

I just thought I'd share that.

Concerning your Stanford comment, I will be shocked if Andrew Luck isn't the #1 pick in the draft, whenever he enters.

I agree. He's very smart and very accurate and carries himself quite well. He's a franchise-type player in a premium position. He's got to be a #1 pick.

Andrew Luck, who is naturally shy and soft-spoken, showed me that he engaged his teammates and was a vocal leader on the sideline tonight

Tweet from Joe Schad, who worked on the ESPN Radio broadcast of the game tonight.

Thing is, are Carolina and Denver ready to give up on Clausen and Tebow already, if he does enter this year?

That's true. If I'm Denver, I don't give up on Tebow. Carolina might want to give Clausen another year, but I'm not sure if it's worth it. I do think Luck will be better than both of them, though.

I think Carolina needs more help on defense than offense, personally, and that Denver needs a running back above all for their part. Minnesota might trade up, though. They need a quarterback.

EDIT: Cincinnati, Buffalo, and Arizona, who will likely round out the top 5 (I think), as well as San Francisco and Washington will likely be interested as well.

The Bills will not take Luck if he is available at #3. They are now convinced that Fitz is the answer at QB at a much lower value.

They would most likely take offers from other teams after them that would want him, and then the Bills will take someone like AJ Green if he's still there.

Fitz has never been the answer, and he never will be. He can play good football for upwards of 10 weeks, but that's all he's got in him. He's done this before, and he's always fallen off. If the Bills try to win with Fitz, they'll end up in the same spot the Browns were in with Derek Anderson.

Fitz has shown some promise however. Did you know he became only the 2nd NFL player in history to throw for exactly 3,000 yards in a season?

I think the Bills will try to get another high impact WR, a TE, and a LT, and hope that gives Fitz enough weapons to make something happen, and then perhaps worry about a QB at a later time.

I just know the Bills will mess it up somehow is all.

All I know is the Seahawks need help on the OL and some depth at WR.

Being a 7-9 team and making the PO's is not favorable for them to rebuild in the draft.

I know that in football it's every given Sunday, but I don't think you can be too confident about their chances against the Saints?

I'm not predicting a win, but I think they'll put up a better fight than people expect. Qwest Field is a definite advantage, and we hung with the Saints for 3 quarters at their place earlier in the year. Plus, what do we have to lose? No one expects us to win. So, I think it will be fairly close, but I see the Saints pulling away in the 4th quarter.

And yeah, the playoff berth hinders rebuilding through the draft a bit.
