Normally, I'd put this in the "I'm Bored' thread, but this is pretty big news as I think Ichiro is a future Hall of Famer. Thanks for all the fine years in Seattle Ichiro and good luck with the Bronx Bombers.

Mitchell is statistically unimpressive to me, but I don't know what kind of scouting report he has. He seems to be capable of missing bats, but he also might have some control issues, and he seems to give up a lot of home runs. High ERA in AAA this year, and a mediocre FIP.

Farquhar is even less impressive. Lots of walks, not many strikeouts, but at least less prone to conceding the long ball. He's a reliever, though.

You didn't get much back, but honestly, Ichiro had very low value, so that was expected.

the one thing i question about ichiro is ... 11 years with the mariners and he still hides behind the interpreter at his final press conference
