In the end it didn't matter. The umps still gave Ackley 3b. Still, really stupid shit by that guy. Everybody around him was yelling at him not to touch the ball, too. I hate it when any fan reaches over the wall for a ball, even a foul. If it comes up into the stands, fine but reaching for a nothing baseball is just plain stupid. Go buy one in the gift shop if you want it so bad.
