OT: I love my pet

I think my dog is messing with me.

when she is in the house, she doesn't wear a collar. So when it's walk time, I have taught her that when I pick up her collar (attached to leash) and hold it open at her head level, her job is to walk over and put her neck on the collar so it's easy for me to close.
the last couple of days when I present the collar, she walks over, and puts her head beside my hand, but on the outside of my hands. what the fuck? She's been doing it right for months... this has got to be on purpose.

no, she took to it quite naturally.

i started getting her to just put her face between my hands when I called her over (affection reward).
switched over to the collar being in my hands, and it worked out pretty smoothly.

Im having an issue with the new puppy where she doesn't want to go into the rain to do her business she tends to want to pee under the patio..... ooof

My boy dog is like that. I leash him and go out with him. He feels more comfortable that way, FWIW.
