I cant remember if @puckhead was playing with us during the infamous "bambi on ice" moment

The opposing team fired the puck down the ice during a penalty kill. It was heading fast toward the left corner, and one of their players was chasing it. I figured since it was coming in hot, I could beat him to the puck. So, I skated toward the faceoff circle. Just as I got there, the puck hit a patch of dead snow and stopped. Suddenly, it was a race between us to get to it. I actually beat him, but as soon as I reached the puck, the ice got slippery (can you believe it actually gets slippery? Total nonsense!).

Next thing I know, I bailed—both legs up in the air, flat on my back. Every time I tried to get up, my skates would fold out from under me, and I went down like Bambi on ice. This happened three times. Meanwhile, the other guy finally reached the puck, but he was laughing so hard that when he tried to bury it in the empty net, he hit the post instead.

By the time I managed to get myself together, I skated hard toward the puck, which was now sitting on the post in front of the net. Just as I got there, I bailed AGAIN—legs up, flat on my backside. I slid into the post, catching the puck between my legs. Everyone was cracking up. The ref skated over, I handed him the puck, and he just rolled his eyes. After that, my team started calling me "Bambi.

Boba and I found a brand new IPhone on the ground under a truck our walk this morning .. I picked it up to see if was wallet with an address and the camera opened .. so I took a picture of Boba as he really was the one who found it and left it on the trucks mirror lol

I was skiing years ago, before the days of cell phones. A lot of people carried cheap walkie talkies. I found one on the mountain. I took it down, intending to give it to the lifty who could take it to the lost and found. Just for the hell of it, I turned it on. It was a girl a couple of lines from me and her friend who had the matching unit.

So many times I wish I hadn't been married...

My dog is almost 9 and in good shape but at times I think he's slowing down a bit. Yesterday and today we did 3 mile hikes with a lot of hills and he came through like a champ. For the last 4 hours or so he's been stretched out next to me completely passed out snoring like an old man.

Padme is 14 and snores like a trucker after 1/2 km lol. Boba Pett is Coming up on 3 and just gets going after we have done 10K
