Western culture is still heavily influenced by puritan and other conservatively Christian views, even with the reduction of devout members of those sects. In puritanism, it was deemed immoral to even have a sexual thought, and the modern United States was founded and populated largely by puritans in the early goings, so an aversion to nudity is a natural byproduct of our nation's roots.

Another thing that should be legal. It'd probably keep more psychopaths from going on killing sprees and get rid of many rapists. As well as make a shit ton of money in taxes. Just keep it in certain zoning areas so it is far away from churches and schools/residential areas.
