OT: How 'bout dem Bearcats!

They were really flat today. Predictable coming off the big win at Louisville and then playing a game at noon. They could have lost today, but in the end made enough plays to win. The three seniors made most of the important plays down the stretch. Wasn't pretty, but hell, I'm happy. Lawrence may be back for the next game, which would be huge.

You are right. They really struggled on offense, SK was sick, and they had to battle a USF team that has always bothered them with their size. Add in the big let-down of emotions after the UL game, and this was an easy "trap" or "let-down" game. Give credit to the coaching and the players to fight through it and get a win.

UConn and SMU this week, I think, and then UC gets a week off...if they can get to that point, they will get some much needed rest!

I think they'll beat UConn because it is at home, and UConn, IMO, is a bit over-rated. They overachieved last year, and they simply weren't as good as everyone thought coming into this year.

SMU will only get better under Brown. I don't look forward to UC going there, on the road, after a quick turnaround from a game on Thursday. I honestly think they'll lose this one.

7:00 vs UConn tonight.

UConn has broken back into the top 25, so another potentially good win if UC can pull this off.

I personally think UConn is a bit over-rated. They played well above their heads last year, and are coming back down to earth this year. I'm not completely surprised they have struggled.

Lawrence is playing after having no ill effects of his Tuesday practice. That is big news. UC's been playing with 9 scholarship players since he went down, and really...8 if you count the fact that Nyarsuk can barely sniff the floor.

Another great win tonight coming from behind after being outplayed for pretty much the first 33minutes of the game. Defense down the stretch does it again.

Now on the road to SMU...going to be tough, but a win there would put UC in a great spot heading into a 7 day rest period. A much needed rest period, too!

Yeah, I want to say I can see UC taking this game, but after anouth tough game, a short turn-around, traveling, and playing a much improved SMU team...we'll see.

I won't be surprised if they go down, but hopefully, they can come out of this and head into a nice 7 day break with their record in tact!

Officiating is terrible. Lawrence got bowled over, and call for a foul.

The official ran from the other side of the court, and then baited Mick into a technical.

It's been like this all year. The AAC and their officiating have been totally clueless. They've had several instances where they've gotten basic rules incorrect as well. Disgraceful.
