No, the judicial system should do a better job of enforcing fathers to support their children. If they refuse to do so, then they should be impriosned where they are forced to work and all of the money they earn should go to supporting their child and themselves while being captive. If they refuse to work, then they should have close to nothing so there is little tax money supporting them. One meal a day, no electricity, no leisure at all whatsoever till they take on their responsibilities. Everything has a consequence and people need to learn that they are responsible for them, the governement nor taxpayers should be responsible for one person... However I am all for the government enforcing that they do so. And, sorry if I sound like a dick, but your Mother should have worked and paid for a babysitter. She is responsible for having you as well.

I am also not against entitelment programs. I am against how easy they are to attain.

Well let's look at the flip side of this shall we, I have 2 step kids whom I support fully, their Dad doesn't do shit and no CS. So since I do this do i deserve a tax break, I mean I do it cause I love my girls but shouldn't I get some kind of incentive for it. I'm not knocking your situation cause I know it's fucked up no matter what, but I don't believe this should be a Taxpayer issue.

My bad, Boss, I knew in the back of my head that things could go off on a tangent when I started this thread. Still, the posters here have remained quite civil to one another. From a purely selfish standpoint, I sure hope the US can get that economy turned around because when America sneezes, Canada catches a cold.
