Since the fans always get screwed in these situations, I came up with something that I want out of all of this. The best part? It's a totally foreseeable situation. I want the books opened up for every, single team. It will not only tell everyone what these guys have been doing with this money, but it will create chaos amongst the owners. And who knows, someone might put Jerry Jones through a table. :thumb:

I'm sure they didnt like other parts, but I saw that the owners gave in and kept the 16 games schedule for atleast 2 more years

Okay, before the Packers won the Super Bowl, I would have wanted a lockout so the NHL could take advantage. But now, I want the Pack to be able to repeat :D

Plus I think a NBA lockout would be a bigger advantage for Hockey than an NFL Lockout..

Actually, I think more football fans would watch hockey than basketball fans. Hockey just isn't very popular in the hood. :confused2:

Coming up next on Fox, exciting football action from the Canadian Football League - Their balls are bigger.

presumably some of that talent comes north for the year?*
would they rather make $65k a season, or sit on their asses an live on the interest from salaries of yesteryear (assuming multiple alimonies have bled them dry).
Ahman Green has already signed with Montreal, but I presume his best year are in the rearview mirror.

*I don't know how many imports CFL teams are allowed.

What is this NFL you talk about? Here in the LA market the only football we have is MSL

NFL officially locks out the players and 10 players have already filed anti-trust lawsuits.

I'll be interested to see if the UFL can take advantage of this. Even if this ends up working out, NFL owners are morons. They make so much money and somehow it wasn't enough. Won't shock me at all if they end up taking some losses out of this, although I must admit even if some of the season (or all) is lost, I doubt the NFL will suffer the same attendance issues that MLB did after starting back up in 1995.

If I were one of the UFL investors, I'd seriously be looking at getting some more teams and trying to bring in some of the big name NFL stars. Not sure it would work, but gotta think it's worth a shot.
