We'll be sworn enemies as soon as this Thursday, but good luck to the Braves (not too much though ;)). They are a classy organization with a Hall of Fame coach.

My homer pick has the Giants winning in 5, but I'm damn nervous. It should be a good series. Thank GOD you guys don't have home field advantage, otherwise I'd have the Braves in 5.

By the way, who ya got for ROY? Heyward or Posey? They are both deserving.....

Good luck to you as well...My homer pick is Braves in 4 but just like you I have no confidence in my pick. The way I see it is we must win one of the first 2 games in SF, because I don't see us winning a game 5 in SF. As for the ROY, I got Posey. Heyward has had one hell of a year but the way Buster Posey has handled the pitching staff along with how he's swung the bat, he's gotta get the award.....

GO BRAVES! :D

Good post Ritari. I think whoever wins this series will win it in 5. I definitely am nervous, but at the same time, the Giants were supposed to finish 3rd in the Western Division, so I'm happy too. It's a weird thing.

I can see arguments for both sides on the ROY. When it's titled "Rookie of the YEAR", I think you can make a very good case for Heyward. If it was "Most Influential Rookie", I think you can make a very good case for Posey. Heyward has had a bigger effect on a larger sample size, and Posey has had a very good winning percentage in the time he's been in the lineup.

If the series goes 5, I'll be a little more than a little worried, unless we split at both home and in SF basicly proving to mostly ourselves we can win in SF. At the same time, the Braves are much worse on the road and if they have to win 2 of 3 on the road, it's playing against the odds....

But that is a very good point about the ROY. It is "Rookie of the Year" and not "Rookie of the Part of the Year that Rookie has Been up in the Majors" (the ROTPOTYTRHBUITM award :D) I still think because of the way he has controlled the pitching staff, it gives him an edge which IMO wins him the award

Yeah...

Go ahead and battle it out tooth and nail for second place overall in the National because that's as far as either of your teams are going.

My Phillies will not be denied!!
