Private prisons aka for profit prisons are terrible ideas. Low staffing, low pay a d inmates don't get the treatment they need.

As the article said, what are they advertising? For other cities to hire them to develop a prison in their city? For prisoners to ask the court to go there instead of the state correctional facility? ;) On the bright side, if this fails, they could remove the O and make it GE field for General Electric, add an IC to make it Geico Field... ;)

There is so much bad news in the idea of private prisons, and the necessity to keep them full and profitable.....just a real dismal failure of the public sector on many counts.

Yep, private prisons are dangerous places to work at. I would not consider working in one, sure all prisons are dangerous but not to that level
