Private prisons aka for profit prisons are terrible ideas. Low staffing, low pay a d inmates don't get the treatment they need.

As the article said, what are they advertising? For other cities to hire them to develop a prison in their city? For prisoners to ask the court to go there instead of the state correctional facility? On the bright side, if this fails, they could remove the O and make it GE field for General Electric, add an IC to make it Geico Field...

There is so much bad news in the idea of private prisons, and the necessity to keep them full and profitable.....just a real dismal failure of the public sector on many counts.

Yep, private prisons are dangerous places to work at. I would not consider working in one, sure all prisons are dangerous but not to that level
