hahaha, okay then. and i know i've heard the watchmaker theory (though i'm rusty on it), and i think i agree with...portions of it. but hey, i love jesus, i assume YOU love jesus. all's good.

I am a scientist, in the most base and molecular levels of science. The deeper I get and the more I understand the complexities of it all, from an ancient archea to the human nervous system, the more I realize that God must exist. And yes I also love me some Jesus, however I do not like evangilism as I feel that God is something that everyone must come to through their own journey. Personally, I was born and raised Greek Orthodox and recognize myself with that line of thought, but I have the open mindedness of a deist in that I believe everyone is saved in their own way and living a good life the best you can is really your only mission in life.

So...yeah....LETS GO HOKIES....wait this is the hockey board......C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS!!!!

I didn't like "Boss" in my handle. I don't like people that brag or try and tell the world they are better than others. Both of my son's made deans list and I never even knew it until we found out by accident. I am glad they are like that too.

Just do your job and do your best, people respect that more then a person bragging or talking about it. JMO.

i can respect that...disagree with the evanglism part, but i completely understand what you mean. i do believe that going on your own journey often helps (IMO Gods the one making things happen anyway, the 'everything happens for a reason' idea). it's awesome that you can see it in your studies though. personally i'm always surprised that many scientists deny God's existence when they see such complexities. my favorite science to study (outside of the human body, musculature and whatnot in my major) is astronomy. now THAT is epic stuff.

I made the Deans list a couple of times, but not in the way that you are talking about.....and my parents didn't know about it either come to think of it.
