Yeah, but everybody knows gatorade doesn't rehydrate. Athletes are forever spitting it out.

I know correlation does not imply causation, but seriously, dehydration is by definition a lack of water. It only makes intuitive sense that putting more water into your system would improve your hydration, and therefore put you at less of a risk for dehydration.
I refuse to associate with the "scientists" who performed this study.

It gives science a bad name, agreed.
There are not many things worse than politicians putting fake science together and passing off their lunacy as being "correct" because "science backs me up."

I read about a study a couple years ago. I think it was in Sweden and they determined that eating KFC every day is not good for you.
