The comic has been going for on for 6 years and off the top of my head I am not sure if they are even in issue 3 yet. Not that it follows everything exactly, if I remember correctly Rick only met Glenn in the city not the group.

Theres a lot of really cool stuff that happened in the books they can use or go away from it. Either way I would think they could do a 13 episode season easily.

Yuck about the way they were able to walk up the street in episode 2!

lol you had to let a little plausibility go with that one, the fun part of it was that at least it was a little different from some other shows (not named shaun of the dead) it was at least an original idea they did give a good explanation of why they thought it would work (sight, smell movement etc) was worth a try lol

anyway 3 shows in and Im hooked. can wait to see whats coming up with the rednecks. also its only a 6 episode season I could see this lasting 4 seasons or 5 if they keep it going like this.

I will be interested to see the rating for next weeks episode. Since Sunday's episode didn't have many zombies at all some speculate that people may tune out. Hopefully not, the graphic novels are more about the human conflict than the zombie dangers.

Watched the entire Dead Set series last night. Lots of fun, really enjoyed it.

I watched the pilot ep for Walking Dead. It honestly felt like a movie not a tv show. The production was well done and the acting was top notch. I'll have to catch up on the other eps that are already out.

Im digging the character builds. this is a very good series. not overrun with zombie effects but has the odd shots that really keep you going. I like where this is going.

Love the last two episodes, they have really gone in a different direction from the books. The CDC and the hospital have been additions to the series that were not in the books and I thought both were really cool.

Very Minor spoilers:
The finale will not be a cliffhanger. And if you are familiar with the books there is a big death that occurs soon. It wont happen this year. Micheal Rookers character will not be back this year.

There was a good article in Entertainment Weekly with the writer of the comics and the series Robert Kirkman.

I need to start this series on demand... I still have to catch up on Dexter and finish Eastbound and Down. I'm caught up on Boardwalk Empire... Looking forward to the Spartacus prequel and Game of Thrones in 2011.

Damn, Walking Dead got its highest ratings Sunday night. Odd for the 5th episode. I guess people have been catching up.

Hope its not a mistake for AMC to make people wait for Halloween next year for season 2.

Caught up by watching the last 4 eps including the newest one yesterday. I'm really enjoying it. I like how there aren't zombies every 2 seconds. Because you know when they do pop up it's going to get interesting.

Strange, didn't see that one coming. Now you wonder how it will be in season 2. BTW from what I read season 2 will begin filming in February and the season premiere will be in the fall some time.
