has anyone else watched this movie?
I just watched it recently and came away pissed at the NFL for knowing the damage this was causing players and hiding it for so long. and then, when the truth came out, trying to bury the guys telling the truth.
the NFL is their employer. they should have be looking out for the best interest of their employees, not doing everything in their power to hide it.
look, alot of guys are going to play in the NFL regardless of the risks. it's no different than someone joining the military. except those joining the military know all the risks going in. the NFL was doing their best to hide those risks from their employees.
if players love the game ( much like military personnel sign up cause they love their country ), they are going to play even knowing the risks involved. it's not going to kill the game of football ( which I think is what they were afraid of ).
I just came away pissed at the NFL for they way they handled that whole situation ( and continue to handle it even to this day ).
your thoughts?
