The Lego Movie was amazing. It stayed within itself, making no effort to be serious in any way, and was nonstop entertainment.

Will Arnett was awesome as Batman, too, of course.

And it looked really good. They did a lot of cool stuff visually.

Glad to hear it. I'm a LEGO nerd, and I've been following the reviews pretty closely. Seems like most of the reviewers went in pretty cynical, thinking this was a pure merchandising promo-reel, and instead found a really good film. Rotten Tomatoes rating is right up there with the best of Pixar.

True Detective was fantastic tonight.

Yeah: I thought that the 3rd episode was kind of weak, & was worried that the series was going to trail off from there, but last night it came right back to full-on excellent.
