It was and is, a very nice play...nothing more or less. It's the age of, "announcers overstate everything no matter what" and surely you've noticed.

The officials in the college bowl games have shown an enormous lack of fortitude.

Chippiness has become common place and yet there isn't flag one, TO to talk to both coaches/benches, etc in a game yet.

It's a wonder there hasn't been 2/3 games ended like BYU/Memphis.

Did y'all see the A&M contest? I just knew a brawl was coming outta that one.
