Sounds like SFU is going to drop their football program - A lot of history with that program and they have sent a ton of players to the CFL.
yah so much good history ... and nothing but bad recently... they won 4 games since 2015 in ncaa div 2 ... not even trying to join usports is surprisingSounds like SFU is going to drop their football program - A lot of history with that program and they have sent a ton of players to the CFL.

surprising but also not surprising at the same time ... I think when sfu left ciau it was because they were given an all or nothing proposition ... ie make all your sports programs ciau/usports or take a hike. Usports prob has same stipulation nowI was just watching Donnie and Dhali and Taylor was talking about it and he was suggesting that it was USports that didn't seem all that interested in letting SFU back in
"new football stadium" is a misnomer ... they added a covered seating area to terry fox field ... its also used for the soccer programsi wasn't aware that SFU just recently built a new football stadium. That's rough.
I hope this guy is not a bad guy. I want him to succeed here so bad
they are sharpLions with some new uniforms - They look darn good to me.
I'm going to watch the full interview, but if I'm reading the tea leaves correctly here, it doesn't appear that the SFU admin really cares all that much about having a football program...
the thing that got me is they had a player on the news talking about the meeting they had with the sfu athletic director and she says they made their minds up about the football program before spring practices (and one of the players got this meeting on video). They hired assistant coaches ... they continued with spring practice... and the player suffers a major knee injury ... talk about fucking with peoples livesI'm going to watch the full interview, but if I'm reading the tea leaves correctly here, it doesn't appear that the SFU admin really cares all that much about having a football program...
