Might as well shut it down for 2020 and let's try again in 2021.

“Sept 14 players will begin traveling to Winnipeg." one team’s internal communications sent out, "You will have to pass a COVID test, twice over a six day period to be allowed into the bubble. After the six day quarantine in Winnipeg training camp will start."

I’ll say this much - if the CFL was popular in Quebec or Ontario Trudeau would’ve found a measly $30 mil to loan them.

This is very true, but Ambrosie bungled this from the very beginning. How tough is it to set up a CFL lottery to raise funds to help the CFL play the 2020 season, I think you could have raised at least $20 million (and that might be a low estimate) and we could have seen CFL football this fall. I fear that 2 or 3 teams could end up folding now (and they happen to reside in the three largest cities in Canada).

Don’t doubt that at all. Just don’t follow closely enough to know about it.

With all of these players opting out of their contracts to try to get on NFL rosters, if/when CFL starts up again do the teams still hold their rights or do they become UFA?

Mtl lost their QB today

There could be a possibility where all players are released from their contracts and we could something along the lines of a CFL free agent frenzy which I think would actually be a exciting way to re-launch the CFL.
