Wonder if Victor Martinez being in the lineup would have altered Detroit's trajectory this season. Would they be better/worse? With the way their bats have been of late they could certainly use him. Come on Detroit make this series interesting.

I kind of doubt that. No way would Illitch haved coughed up that kind of dough to get Fielder if Victor Martinez was healthy.
