I wish Jason Bay was one of these players you speak of.

Bay went downhill fast. Had some success with the Red Sox. Once he signed that deal with the Mets he fell off of the face of the Earth. Injuries have played a part of that (i think???).

/When the Pirates traded Bay, they got Brandon Moss in return. Absolutely dreadful in Pittsburgh, now a stud in Oakland. It sucks rooting for the Pirates...

That's a convenient excuse, the truth is he just sucks. Those pop flys that went over the Monster are now fly outs at Citi. When the Mets signed him, of the top 20 HR hitters of the 5 prior years, he had the 2nd shortest avg hr distance. He can't hit for power in a big park and he can't hit for average. Combine that with the fact he can't field and he's easily the worst contract in baseball.

Holy hell, i looked it up. I had no idea he was making 16-18 million a year on that deal. Ugh.

These Yankee crowds have been beyond pathetic. This is playoff baseball, 2 outs, 2 on and your Captain at the plate and it's silent. This is what happens when you price real fans out of games. Between this, the lockout, and having to pay $50 for parking in the meadowlands for football games, I'm really starting to hate sports. It's sick.

Was an incredible game. Werth's at bat was nuts.

NICE! Great pic. It was VERY red at the park today.

5 more runs and I might be persuaded to let Valverde pitch a third of the last inning.

Finally they put us away.

Verlander's been sittin' on his ass for over 30 minutes.

EDIT: 200! :ipw:
