last three games, Leo's have been outscored 114-19

whatever they are doing isn't working.

It's not good because they have a new owner and this is no way to attract fans to attend games.

50 yard FG attempt for the win...blocked by the Argos.

Um, horrible clock management by Toronto gives BC a chance to win. Camacho misses wide right but scores a rouge.

We're going to OT.

Argos win 31-29 and BC needs to find a new placekicker.

i don't think I have ever stayed through to the end of a CFL game. (I've only seen maybe 10 or 15 in total)
might be the atmosphere in BC Place is so institutional.

Atmosphere is pretty good for Whitecaps game (although a younger demographic likely has a lot to do with it).

I've only seen a whitecaps game from a luxury box, and my friends who are in the southsiders tease me mercilessly for it.

Regarding Fonzie's quote above, there's no denying it's been a down year as far as entertainment value is concerned for the CFL. QB play has not been all that good this season and that goes hand-in-hand with a decrease in scoring. I think what really hurts the CFL is the general perception that it's minor league and the CFL players are not good athletes. It's only minor league in comparison to the NFL, but there are quality athletes in the CFL.

Well I’m assuming he’s referring to how he felt about it in 2018 and his feelings about the cfl probably haven’t changed:noidea:

Cfl hasn’t exactly done a bang up job marketing to kids in recent history. They try … but I think there’s only so much impact visiting elementary schools can have. I think the biggest hit has been decreased local media coverage :noidea: lions were always in the news when I was a kid. Now it gets little coverage :noidea: that’s what you get when toronto calls the shots

^

I wasn't dragging on Fonzie to be clear. That game was a shitshow being played on a sheet of ice (stupid Edmonton groundskeepers).
