From what I've seen, Houston gave them Oz plus a 2nd round pick next year and got the cap space of his contract in return. It's been a while since I've seen such a one sided deal like this. Houston wanted to clear him that badly, and even though they're saying it's not because of Romo...we all know it's probably because of Romo.

Meanwhile Oz may be packaged in a trade by the Browns, too. What a day!

The Jets trade Clady for Siemian, and only after the deal is signed does Elway remember the Jets already parted ways with Clady so he goes out and signs him as a FA. To back up Oz, Elway signs Cutler for a camp arm he coaxes Orton out of retirement. Orton goes on to win the starting job.

It just goes to show you how spoiled we've been, despite having some not so great moments as well. The Broncos not so great moments are the pinnacle for a lot of other franchises!
