West Virginia cancelled the gane with OU this weekend. Lincoln Riley has challenged Ohio State. Come on buckeyes, sack up.
Never mind all this is is talk from Riley and he doesn't even know if his conference would allow it?

Exactly.

The biggest pooch screwing here was the B1G ever pulling the “at least 6 games” rule that failed to anticipate such a scenario as that above. At least they are smart enough to recognize an asinine rule for what it is and rectify it. And it isn’t like it’s a rule dating back to the glory days of Woody and Bo. It barely predates the election.
In addition they said everything is fluid when they made the rules, reinstated the season, etc.

I was kind of hoping they'd just rearrange the BIG schedule. was really just bad luck we missed 2 games through no fault of our own. Maybe have a team who has missed no games sit out this week and we take their opponent. Oh well.

I don't believe this. No way! If this is true, scUM has taking a new all time low. Let's hear from our friends from up north, what say you?

I can believe meeeechegan was running scared. They didn't want to play Ohio State this year anyway.

The eye test. We can all watch Miami, A&M, Florida for example and know they're better than Penn State, Maryland, Michigan, and Michigan State.
How's that "eye test" looking for Miami these days? I guess they might hold all those teams to only 300 yards rushing?

None of those big teams are good. Miami beat the bad teams and lose to the good teams. Are you going to lie to my face and tell me PSU, Michigan, Michigan State, and Maryland were good teams this season?

OSU gets the benefit of the doubt...

Bad schedule means nothing to the power teams like OSU, BABA, CLEMSON....And unfortunately the always overrated ND

Not like OSU hasn't destroyed their opponents...More games mean nothing and is a stupid argument...When we already know what the result would be...

The Hurricans like Cincy don't get the benefit of the doubt because they are not power teams...And nobody cares about them tbh
After the shameful ducking scUM did, i change my mind. They deserve it.

Never really implied they were good. But Miami is also nothing special.

You just cannot seem to wrap your head around the idea you cannot know which conferences are good/bad if all their teams do is play each other.

But yet Ohio State is in the thick of the playoffs race while USC with the same record doesn't have a chance in hell. Seems like the committee are making assumptions as well right?

USC has 3 games decided late in the 4th, while tOSU won 4 blowouts and the IU game (which wasn’t as close as the score indicated).

Those aren’t assumptions.

5-0 is 5-0.

They shouldn't be behind several 2 L teams

I agree with this....never said they were
Fair enough, but you did say based on your eye test you "knew" they were better than certain teams when nothing they did showed you enough to know....and that has been proven since you made the comment.
