It's awfully quite in here this morning. Oregon fans getting worried.
You summoned The One and now a game thread has been started.

Alright Washington, I'm rooting for you, but you have to promise me that you won't turn into the douchebag fan base that Oregon did if you find the same success. There are some cool Oregon posters here don't get me wrong, but the others...Just no. The ESPN board was flooded by them and it was ridiculous for a while.
But OD guarantees oregon, so it's a wash...Welp...Everyone on GameDay just picked Washington. You're fucked...

Um, the main college football admin is a duck. No chance we'd get away with 10% of what they did even if we wanted to.Alright Washington, I'm rooting for you, but you have to promise me that you won't turn into the douchebag fan base that Oregon did if you find the same success. There are some cool Oregon posters here don't get me wrong, but the others...Just no. I love this idea that simply having VA behind center will magically turn him into the same QB he was against a different UW team last year. He came in with a team he had played with for 3 years in a system he was comfortable with and a slew of receivers he was in sync with and faced a team with a brand new HC starting out a first year QB that turned out to easily be the worst this team has had in at least 30 years. And VA still lost.
Sure, he will be better than Lockie. I mean you can't get any worse. But expecting him to have the same kind of day passing at the helm of a team that isn't a passing team to start with, that has more than one of their top WR weapons out, in a system he hasn't played more than a couple of quarters in and receivers he doesn't have much game time with is ludicrous.
This game will come down to a couple of simple things: Can UW do anything to consistently impede Oregons potent running game, and can UW's offense with all of their youth limit their mistakes and finish drives?
The outcome will be in those two questions.
Don't feel bad for him. He made his choice. He could have stayed at Eastern and tried to win an FCS championship. Instead he thought he could step in for for a Heisman winner and try to win an FBS championship after two weeks of work with his new team. I don't blame him for doing what he thought was best for him, but I don't feel bad for him either. He probably should have thought it through a bit more and passed his high school level math class the first time...I feel bad for the kid (VA). He came into the season as a top 10 QB prospect.
Guess what? He isn't anymore.
Awwshitz. Where good players go to kill their careers.
Hope he made enough from uncle phil to make pissing away at least a few years in the NFL worth it.
Does a victory today over the dread evil empire even move UW into the top 25? I mean the pollsters surely will see beating Oregon is not much of a big deal as poorly as they've played this year.
But, just last week they got 64 votes...Does a victory today over the dread evil empire even move UW into the top 25? I mean the pollsters surely will see beating Oregon is not much of a big deal as poorly as they've played this year.
And sadly, even if UW found a way to blow them out they wouldn't move up much from rec 2 votes. Maybe rec 12?But, just last week they got 64 votes...![]()
I'll take it!And sadly, even if UW found a way to blow them out they wouldn't move up much from rec 2 votes. Maybe rec 12?![]()
UW is favored to beat an unranked team. So I doubt it.
Hard to climb the ladder with weak ass teams like 0regone on the schedule.
