Yeah, he said something about eating a bag of Dick's when he gets to seattle.Must be...no passion in here...Mamba's at this game isn't he?
I'm not expecting him to have the same kind of day. But, being better than Lockie is definitely a bonus!!I love this idea that simply having VA behind center will magically turn him into the same QB he was against a different UW team last year. He came in with a team he had played with for 3 years in a system he was comfortable with and a slew of receivers he was in sync with and faced a team with a brand new HC starting out a first year QB that turned out to easily be the worst this team has had in at least 30 years. And VA still lost.
Sure, he will be better than Lockie. I mean you can't get any worse. But expecting him to have the same kind of day passing at the helm of a team that isn't a passing team to start with, that has more than one of their top WR weapons out, in a system he hasn't played more than a couple of quarters in and receivers he doesn't have much game time with is ludicrous.
This game will come down to a couple of simple things: Can UW do anything to consistently impede Oregons potent running game, and can UW's offense with all of their youth limit their mistakes and finish drives?
The outcome will be in those two questions.
Yep, and I hope it's a slow, painful, dreary, sad trip back home for all who took that trip up here.Must be...no passion in here...Mamba's at this game isn't he?
Not missing that one at all. That's why I said UW has to minimize their mistakes. UW gave up 5 turnovers at home against Cal. Any one of those not given and UW might have won that game. You can't give easy chances to anyone.Don't ever "under-value" the turnover ratio here...that one ALWAYS plays a BIG part in a ballgame.
Isn't that what all Seattleites do anyway?Yeah, he said something about eating a bag of Dick's when he gets to seattle.
I don't think uncle phil leaves the house anymore...Lee Corso: Huskies are "too physical" for the Ducks and will beat them tonight.
Helfrich better have a few ambulances stationed at their locker room including for their DC. The big one could hit him on the sidelines tonight.

Hopefully Uncle Phil is standing on the sidelines in one of his gayass leather cowboy hats watching the carnage as well .
Our local media here keeps bringing up his last visit even. It's not just some of your fans making that comparison. If he was returning with EWU that's one thing, but under these circumstances how he did his last visit here literally means nothing.I'm not expecting him to have the same kind of day. But, being better than Lockie is definitely a bonus!!
Classless pricks...ducks. Always with the name calling.![]()
I hope you have to deal with a pissed off girlfriend...I must admit, even I'm excited about this game! My Oregon fan girlfriend took the night off to watch and she just might leave me before it's done. Good times.
I am hoping that we at least get the VA that hung around with Michigan St. When he went out against Utah, I knew that game was a lost cause...just didn't know how lost. Our local media here keeps bringing up his last visit even. It's a Seattle thing....Dick's-n-pricks...what is it with you Huskies and your fetishes?
Gotta ask for the sake of curiosity... Why is she an 0regone fan? Is it because of all the dress up/costume parties in the fall? Or something else?
