Oregon hasn't won by fewer than 17 points during the streak, and as the Ducks have reached the pinnacle of college football over the last decade, the opposite has happened for the Huskies. Since last beating Oregon, five different coaches have worn the headset for the Huskies. There was Rick Neuheisel's firing, two years of sub-.500 football under Keith Gilbertson, the Tyrone Willingham era that ended with a winless 2008 season and five years of mediocrity under Steve Sarkisian.

Funny how proud duck fans are over a streak that pits their team at well beyond the best 10 years of their history against a rival at by far the worst of theirs. It's not like they won 11 straight and any of those were against ranked teams. Not like both teams were playing well and they still came out on top. They are basically proud of kicking someone when they are down. I guess they enjoy beating up homeless people on the streets of Portland too.

Absolute best time in program history and they have a couple of secondary bowl trophies and a streak against a down team to show for it. Kind of sad when you think about it.

Even when udud was at their pinnacle, they could only manage a streak of 6.

I'd rather take smaller streaks against irrelevant teams and winning the big ones on the big stage than 11 straight and sharting the bed hard every time your team gets in real competition.

I'm sure Miami would have something to say about it.
Maybe yes, maybe no, but we know for sure what Auburn and Ohio State have to say to you, and it goes something like this:

Whats your point? By the system in place at the time UW got theirs.

Miami can say whatever the fuck they want. So can I.

We would have beat the ever loving piss out of Miami.

See how me saying something doesnt change the fact it was a split title? Miami still has their trophy, so do we.

Wheres yours?
