Whoever drafts this kid, if any, is on my shit list. I don't care how low the recidivism rate is, I am not giving this dude access to kids that pro athletes are going to have.

Nobody in their right mind will draft this kid....It's a PR nightmare, plus the added security they would have to get when he's on the field....

Dude didn't even get drafted. One of the top pitching prospects in the country went from about to get drafted and pitching in the CWS to his career essentially being over all in a matter of 2 weeks.

I'm not sure how I feel about all this. Yes, what he did was disgusting and wrong. But he was 15 at the time. A kid. He served his punishment, and I have a hard time ruining a kid's future because of something he did when he was 15.

Sadly, if he had just registered like he was supposed to, nobody would know a thing.

IMO, yes. That girl is most likely scarred for life thanks to his actions. He doesn't deserve to live a normal life.

I will not argue either of these statements. However had he simply registered like he was supposed to, none of this would have come to light.

99% of the people wouldn't know unless, the media had dug it up like this was found out.

Either way OSU is still on the hook here as well, they should have been investigating every recruit, ( every sport, every college should be) It's a tragic mistake of not checking on a kid...
