...to keep from really getting hurt in a NC. I mean, seriously, this happened in that NC between the lightning fast Gators and a Husker team that looked like a bunch of 35 year old convicts. It was hard to watch my Gators get beaten down by those monsters.

Oregon's cute little offense could really get hurt against a real SEC D...if they ever get the ball.

Kenjon Barner and up-tempo Oregon fly by USC, dream matchup vs. Alabama on everyone's mind - Yahoo! Sports

LOS ANGELES – LaMichael James, who left Oregon as the best running back the school has ever seen, stood underneath the tunnel at the L.A. Coliseum and talked about the greatest offense he's ever seen.

And really, what else could he say? His former team, the second-ranked Oregon Ducks, had just dropped 62 points on USC (which scored 51 in a losing effort) in a game that should have Nick Saban's head spinning.

The QB couldn't get the pass off! It reminded me of Denver against the Patriots in that playoff game last year. Tebow couldn't even catch the shotgun before the D-Line was 'Pouncing' on him.

Of course, that's kinda' like UF beating down OSUx in the 06 Natty.

That defense was built to compete against speed teams like Miami/Florida St. Florida snuck up on CFB that year.

The theory was to stop the run first, then T off on the QB. Florida didn't run anyway so it made the job that much easier.

The problem wasn't completely the Gator offense tho. It was their defense. Enter Bob Stoops from K. State and a national title the next year with the same cast of characters.

Stoops was well educated on NU football.

One should consider the source: Juice the Gator. It's hard to claim this is his dumbest post since he has over 15000 posts and at least 14000 are standing in line to claim the title of the Juiceman's dumbest post. But certainly it's at least a candidate for today.

I think he learned a thing or two at Florida as well. He should have returned.

Auburn must've not had a "real SEC D" when they beat Oregon on a last sec FG.

Saban will have plenty of time to prepare his team. That's bad news for the opposition. To be honest I hope it's Oregon because I think they have a much better chance of keeping it close in comparison to Kansas St. or Notre Dame.

The Big 12 isn't as good as some people think it is. Oklahoma has 2 losses. Texas SUCKS. If Texas A&M had stayed they would probably be right where Kansas St. or close too it.

Right, and Mizzou would be undefeated. A&M has played a soft schedule, not as soft as Miss. St. but...

Yep, Texas sucks.......wait a minnit, they only have 2 losses? Hmmmmm.......that can't be right. Let's check that again......

Yep, it's the same number of losses as OU and ATM, the very team you're pimping........

Go figure.

And LOL at ANYONE thinking ATM would be winning the Big 12. We have decades of history of them not competing.......they couldn't hack it in the Big 12, but apparently the SEC is so weak they can play there. Good for them.
