The last time Washington beat Oregon, nobody had an iPhone, because it was still on Steve Jobs' drawing board. The last time the Huskies beat the Ducks, Miley Cyrus hadn't even become famous as Hannah Montana, much less infamous for her VMA performance with Robin Thicke.


The last time Washington beat Oregon was in 2003. The Huskies haven't been closer than 17 points since. But after the Huskies' near miss at Stanford last week, Washington has what it hasn't had in nearly a decade: a legitimate shot to beat the Ducks.


Before Husky Nation starts any premature celebratory twerking, "legitimate shot" just means an upgrade from the no shot Washington has had recently against Oregon.

which also means no one knows how he would perform under that kind of pressure. No way to know if UW can force him to, but having his first pressure situation coming on the road in such a hostile environment could be interesting.

3 star. He fit the offense perfectly and that is why Oregon ultimately told him he would be their guy.

That is when Johnny Football de-comitted. Chip and Helf loved Mariota.

I dont think they knew exactly how special he was though. Nobody saw that coming.

Sorry, i hate everything about Nike buying Oregon fans. Got chew spit on me a few years back at Eugene...and my girlfriend got hit with a water bottle.

My advise to you is to tell your girlfriend to quit chewing tobacco, less chance of her spitting on you. The water bottle was complimentary, as a way of saying, "wash that shit out of her mouth"

I am off to hit the store for the game. We are doing DAWG-Meat sandwiches and a full spread of snacks. For drink, I think McNabb is donating some cider to Mamba so I will bring some extra brews and another 1/2 gallon of Fireball! Wooop, tastes like America!
