I think some of the dumber Oregon fans (OD obviously included) are somehow proud that he was offered an NFL job. Sure be proud, but your coach was seriously considering leaving you.

Good luck with that in the future. USC is back so he won't be winning any national titles let alone Pac 12 titles any time soon and if he doesn't get one within the next 2-3 years he will be off to greener pastures.

For the record I think Chippy is a good fit for Oregon and probably would flounder in the NFL.

On Saturday, just weeks after the University of Oregon agreed with the NCAA's findings that the Oregon football program violated recruiting rules from 2008-2011, Oregon running back Tra Carson has requested to be released from his scholarship.

"Dont know what color uniform im going to be in next year," Carson posted on Twitter.

It's clear, though, that his days of wearing the green, yellow, gold, metallic silver, matte black, and other colors of the Oregon Ducks are over.
