the only thing bad about that call was that it was made in overtime and no one was dead. otherwise that is exactly the right call to make.

That was a bad call to make at any point in the game.

I'm sorry Nucks fans. That was a really shitty call and a terrible way to loose a good game.

I'm sure the back ref called that and not the one in the zone. I can see how from far away that looks like a clear cut boarding penalty.

Also... and I hope people don't take this the wrong way... the stanchion bullshit was also a pretty unfair way to lose at the time.

San Jose was going to win the series anyway but that officiating tonight was a disgrace....Sharks are good enough not to resort to bullshit diving

Just another reason to go back to the one ref system. Seems like center ice ref is wrong more than right

The center ice ref did call it but still a bad call and probably only called it because Wingels got hurt? /shrug

Congrats to the Sharks and their fans.

I feel sorry for the Canucks and their fans ( I know the feeling) The Sharks would have won the series anyway but it's still tough to swallow.

IMO, the Sharks "fell" a lot tonight when they got bumped, and it seemed that, on that last call, he alsoo went down when he himself went off-balance when the onset of he and Sedin coming together, trying to draw a call, even though he probably didn't realize his possibility of landing head first into the boards. This tends to be a pattern with the Sharks, IMO, since we see it so often with them, but, I guess you can't blame them when the get away with it so often, and it allows them to win so many games with the power play advantage that they derive from doing it. For a player of his ability, Jumbo Joe does it far to much, and he disgraces the game everytime he pulls that crap. But, it seems rather obvious that he does really care, as long as it benefits his team or his contract. If cheating to win is the motto over in Sharkland, it makes it harder to respect the results of their play, unless, of course, you wear the team colored spectacles.

Ouch - In the AV presser, it was revealed that the ref who made the call in OT is the same ref who gave AV a bench minor for unsportsmanlike conduct in Calgary earlier this season.

Edit: Kelly Sutherland is the ref.

One way or another there is going to be hell to pay in the Canucks organization after this....Lost 10 of last 11 playoff games. Vineault is done for sure. Gillis, maybe.
