Bama is a much better team than they were last year. I haven't watched OU enough this season to say one way or the other. Based on what I've read, the Sooners could be in big trouble. Gonna be an interesting game for me. My Dad was a Bama fan. My best friend from my USMC days is from Lawton and is a big Sooner fan. Not gonna root either way, but I will be watching with much interest.
how the hell are you ODD?

Im not just saying this but this Bama defense is more suitable to stop these HUNH offenses( not saying we will) but in 2013 and 2014 we got caught with defensive personnel that was suitable for what football used to be(power football) and not what it is now(spread out) and it showed. 2015 was the year where you could see our personnel start to change to stop the spread teams.

What year did you stop watching college football?

It was 2010 wasn't it?

Huh?
Bama played OU in the Sugar Bowl in '13; lost 45-31. Bama gave up an average of 13 ppg in SEC conference play that year.

Bama played tOSU in '14; lost 42-35. Bama gave up an average of 19ppg in SEC conference play that year

Bama played Clemson in '15; won 45-40. Bama gave up an average of 17.3ppg in SEC conference play that year. I know ya'll blanked MSU, but MSU's offense isn't a HUNH offense.

Bama played Clemson in '16; lost 35-31. Bama gave up an average of 14ppg in SEC conference play that year

Bama did a good job against Clemson and UGA last year.

All of this happened well after 2010. I would also like to point out the Aggies and Ole Miss have also had their way with Bama's defense in the past, as these are the only other legit HUNH offenses that have been running this type of offense for years now. What year did you start watching football?

Terrible matchup. Alabama is going to destroy Oklahoma. The committee should have put Georgia in and matched them up against Clemson and let Alabama play Norte Dame.

Why? UGA went 2-2 vs ranked teams, lost twice this year and didn't win their conference.

And yet, you still think Alabama has the 2009 offense.

I'm OK with however the game plays out so long as OU plays its best game and doesn't get bad calls. What I really want to see is Lincoln Riley mature as a head coach and call a complete game without going into a shell. He keeps coming out at kickoff with that swagger and his balls hanging down to his knees but when things get dicey his voice starts going up and his balls completely retract back up inside him. I'm still not over how he took the game out of Baker Mayfield's hands last year against Georgia in OT and we paid dearly for it. And we had 3 1st team All-Americans on the field when he did it.

I would say this game will be one possession but I just see Bama wearing down this bad defense and pulling away. Final score with Bama winning by 17-20 points. I think Oklahoma’s offense can keep up but only for so long

I'm torn here. On one hand I don't want Bama to win another natty, but on the other hand, it would make UGA look a lot better and Oklahoma fans are obnoxious enough with nothing to obnoxious about...

Boomer has our number for some damn reason, so I'm nervous about the match up. I hope Tua gets out of the shop and is 100%

The game we had with them in Norman Frans 1st year still pisses me off. I think they got up like 28-3 and then Jason White tore his ACL and we stormed back to take the lead on a Fake FG, and then they retook the lead, and then we were driving to win and Tyler Watts swears he had a guy wide open for a game winning TD and he pulled a Jameis on us where the ball slipped out of his hand. Heartbreaking.

Georgia was the only worthy group of QB/WRs that Bama played this season and almost lost. I like our QB/WRs chances vs Bama's DBs. Hopefully our shitty defense comes up with a few stops.

Ole Miss 47 Texas Tech 27
Alabama 62 Ole Miss 7
Oklahoma 51 Texas Tech 45

Mississippi St 31 Kansas St 10
Alabama 24 Mississippi St 0
Oklahoma 51 Kansas State 14

West Virginia 40 Tennessee 14
Alabama 58 Tennessee 21
Oklahoma 59 West Virginia 56

It's a good thing almost lost isn't the same as a loss or y'all would be 8-5.

I feel pretty certain that we'll be able to hold our own.

Like I said, first team to two defensive stops wins. We should have that by the 3rd quarter. Y'all might get there if we played til Tuesday.

Well let’s see, Alabama pure overpowering talent compared to Oklahoma.

Oklahoma having no defense

Chokelahoma is bound to show up

I don’t see how anyone thinks Oklahoma has a chance in this game?
