equipment, I have a set of wedges and a 3 hybrid, I use the gap wedge often, it's pretty reliable at 100 yds. The hybrid is also pretty consistent 180-190 if I don't hit it heavy.

I can't say I know much about them, but I want to say they were at one time sold via mail order or infomercials.

I guess brand name matters to some degree, but I had a set of 4 Snake Eyes forged wedges that I loved...finally moving them along this year.

I got their 3 hybrid a while back for free and it is a nice club. The speed of the ball off contact seemed very fast. I did not like it as much as my TaylorMade hybrid so I did not use it much.

I ended up suing only when off the fairway/rough when there were a lot of rocks. I would rather bang up a free club than my normal clubs.
